What does the future of the post-COVID office space look like?

As the world starts to look towards the future of a post-pandemic society, the growing trend around workplace fluidity has begun to evolve at a rapid rate in order for businesses to survive. One such brand standing at the forefront of office innovation and offering a sought-after business solution is MEAVO. Its product is a range of affordable and environmentally friendly phone booths and meeting pods that are a flexible and functional approach to social distancing and sustainability. It already has some of the largest companies, including Barclays, Monzo and Google under its belt.

The company state that: ‘for many new start-ups, designing the tech is always the hardest part, but for MEAVO – the consumer and business need was so obvious – the pods, which come complete with everything needed for any employee to work productively, including a motion-sensor activated LED spotlight, a silent ventilation system, wireless charging pads and USB and plug charge ports, basically built themselves.’

MEAVO’s Office Phone Booths and Pods were conceived and fully funded by former colleagues of the leading European hiring app, JOB TODAY, who saw a gap in the market for employee-friendly meeting points that had outgrown the current office space. By expanding its designs into the realms of built-in flexibility and temporary structures, MEAVO combined this growing need for office boundaries with the increase in connecting virtual realities. Refusing to compromise on quality or user experience, MEAVO’s pods, which are lined with PET acoustic felt made from recycled plastic bottles, allow the workers inside to inhabit the space uninterrupted and this ability to explore and experiment has allowed MEAVO to look towards the future of office working through the lens of technological design.

This specialist duo, design-led by Todor Madzharov – a leading force behind the development and functionality of the pods themselves – with forward-thinking Thomas Anselmino guiding the commercial aspects, not only allows MEAVO to work alongside aspirational brands but also become an integral part of telling their stories and forming relationships and collaborating with other innovators. With adaptability at the heart of the brand, offering custom-finished pods to streamline any brands aesthetic with no extra charge, MEAVO’s personalised selections can change the composition of an everyday structure to embody a brand’s personality by showcasing a serious understanding of function and design that leaves a clear distinction between the old and the new.

But this is just the beginning for both the company and the future of the office space in terms of exposure, use and notoriety. MEAVO’s unique standpoint is on the brink of discovery on a global scale as the ever-changing business sector adapts to the new normal.
