New facility in Dubai set to refurbish 300,000 devices a year

Alchemy, one of the fastest-growing circular technology company globally, has opened a new facility in Dubai. Based at DAFZA, Dubai Airport Freezone in Dubai, the new location will process 300,000 devices a year, including phones, laptops, tablets and Smart watches, avoiding over 20,000 tonnes in CO2 emissions each year.

The devices, sourced from leading device manufacturers, retailers and mobile carriers, will be resold into markets via Alchemy’s B2C online store, LoopMobile and Callisto, which serves as a B2B reseller and auction platform.

This strategic move, along with the recent establishment of another location in Miami, sets the stage for a strong FY24 while marking the next step in Alchemy’s phenomenal growth and innovation in the circular technology market.

James Murdock, Co-founder of Alchemy, said: “Now operating in 60 markets with facilities in 11 countries, Alchemy is positioned well to meet the rapidly growing demand for quality, affordable, refurbished tech.”
