Microsoft and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) brought 10 impactful sustainability and climate tech start-ups to COP28 to showcase how their innovative solutions are tackling the most pressing challenges resulting from climate change.

Hailing from the UAE, USA, UK, Greece, Spain, India, Finland, and South Korea, the start-ups are part of the fourth Cohort of the GrowthX Accelerator programme, which was launched in 2021 as part of an on-going collaboration between the ADIO and Microsoft to empower growth-stage B2B start-ups ranging primarily from the Seed to Series A stages.

The start-ups, Tomorrow IO, Mitiga Solutions, SEaB Power, Agritrack, Satavia, Nearthlab, Takachar, Cleantech Hub Grounds, Tespak and Sustainable Planet, were selected from a pool of over 300 applicants. As part of the GrowthX Accelerator: COP28 Edition, they received mentorship opportunities and resources from multiple industry experts over a period of eight weeks to help them successfully scale their businesses and realise ideas that drive positive climate impact.
